What are chronic wounds?
Wounds that show signs of poor healing or doesn’t heal within an extended range of time are considered chronic. They are often related to an underlying disorder and hence, unlikely to heal on its own without medical attention. Examples of chronic wounds includes diabetic foot ulcers, gangrene, arterial and venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, infected wounds and traumatic wounds.
Why see a vascular specialist?
Chronic wounds are usually caused by inadequate blood supply or damage to the blood vessels. Hence, it may be helpful to seek appropriate care from vascular specialists that are also certified in providing specialised wound therapy.

Initial consultation rates with our specialists starts from $195 SGD. Our consultation rates are not inclusive of GST and treatment.
